Job Description
We are looking for candidates for our client, a hedge fund company in New York City. As a Quant Analyst, you will be a part of the Quantitative Equity Research team. The group develops and maintains quant focused products, as well as supports the firm's portfolio managers, fundamental research analysts and client teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a team that is at the forefront of new initiatives at the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing and building tools to enhance the research and production process Performing ad hoc quant research alongside senior research analysts Building and maintaining the infrastructure of back-testing and evaluation of stock selection models
QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT:
4+ years experience with Python or similar scripting programming language SQL Database Bachelor’s degree in STEM field Familiar with Factset and Bloomberg and financial statement analysis
