The Role:
As an IT Security Analyst (also known as Security Solutions Engineer) you will be part of the Information Security team within Global Information Technology. This is an integral role in planning, designing, developing and implementing sophisticated system engineering activities involving multi-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for components of highly sophisticated engineering and analytical tasks and activities.
Establish input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordination of subsystems design, and integration of the total system.
Develop and deliver Security Architecture artifacts that integrate and aggregate the solutions for business applications and technology infrastructure with company systems including our vendor supported applications
Develop and build systems capable of supervising security controls, policies and procedures and critical cyber security activities
Own the resolution process for sophisticated problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Act as a technology authority, able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across different audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and external vendors
Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for acquiring results
Proactive determination of potential security vulnerabilities and identification of viable solutions to manage associated risks
Initiate activities to optimize or improve enterprise services architecture offerings
Maintains networks and applications security diagrams
Supports information security architectural requirements
Participates in information security working groups
Occasional on-call level of technical support for high severity impacting incidence where escalation is needed to gather additional architecture and or engineer insight in driving out restoral of services.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Engineering
Demonstrable experience and leadership in the delivery and integration of a broad range of critical core applications
Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT organization developing, configuring, and implementing solutions
Demonstrated experience with Python, Java or Javascript
Knowledge or experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud services
Knowledge of Application Authentication design standard methodologies
Knowledge of endpoint security software
Preferred Requirements
Experience with Cyber security forensics tools and methodologies
Knowledge or experience with Firewalls, Proxy Servers and VPNs
Knowledge or experience of security certificates & public key infrastructure
Knowledge and ability to investigate and debug at multiple OSI layers
