JOB DESCRIPTION
AVTECH Technology Inc is looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our analytics team to support
and facilitate rapid growth of our local and overseas businesses in through analytics and insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Data Analyst’s essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Drive end-to-end business data analytics from identifying business opportunities to derive solutions, presenting analytical findings with quantifiable value to executive business managers.
Prepare standardized reporting/analysis/presentations to support monthly and quarterly operational reviews, building Tableau dashboards and reports to drive insights about the health of the business.
Focus on business data analysis including but not limited to formulation of pricing strategies, business assessment of new product initiatives, economic evaluation of capital expenditures, competitive analysis and benchmarking, and business process redesign.
Serve as a strategic business partner, bringing an understanding of Finance to identify business drivers to create project value.
Supports analytical and business frameworks as well as a quantitative approach to decision-making that improve the overall strategic course of the organization.
Analyze financial results and key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate results to leadership.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners to develop annual financial plans and ongoing forecasts for departmental expenses and headcounts.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal Candidate has the Following Skills and Experience:
Masters’s degree in Finance, Information Systems or Business Administration or relevant field with at least 2 years of experience in an analytics role.
Strong analytical skills with SAS / R-Language in financial modeling.
Advanced database knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server / Microsoft Access to seek out key insights across qualitative and quantitative data sets.
Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel with wide variety of formulas including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
Proven ability in data interpretation using BI (Business Intelligence) tools such as Tableau, QlikView, SAP Crystal Reporting to deploy business reports and drive appropriate product decisions.
Experience partnering with cross-disciplinary teams including Product, Customer Success and Marketing.
Advanced data mining knowledge using Hadoop Big Data analytical tools is a plus.
Ability to read, write and speak English and Chinese at a business fluency level.
